**Can perforated sheet be used for a building facade?**

Yes. Perforated aluminium, GI or stainless steel sheet is widely used for facade cladding, sun screens and balcony panels because it shades the building while letting air and some light through. Facade sheets are usually powder coated after punching.

**What is the open area of a perforated sheet?**

Open area is the share of the sheet taken up by holes. It depends on hole size and the spacing (pitch) between holes. Larger holes on a tighter pitch give more open area, more airflow and lower strength.

**Which material is best for perforated sheet?**
