Most institutions use a strong, see-through boundary fence such as chainlink or welded panels, nets around sports courts and grounds, and safety grilles on upper floors. Nitin Wire Group supplies fencing in bulk for institutional projects, and its ISI-grade chainlink is made to IS 2721. Abdulhussain SabuwalaGoogle review FAQ ## Schools & Colleges fencing: questions **What type of fence is best for a school boundary?** A see-through, climb-resistant fence such as chainlink or welded mesh panels is the usual choice for a school boundary. It keeps outsiders out, lets staff see across the boundary and needs little upkeep when galvanised or powder-coated. Avoid sharp toppings at heights students can reach. **How high should a school compound fence be?** There is no single national height for school fences; it depends on local building rules, your school board and the site. Most schools choose a height that children cannot easily climb. Check your state's school safety guidelines before you finalise the height. **What nets are used around school cricket and football grounds?** Sports grounds are enclosed with knotted nylon nets hung from poles or cables. Nitin Wire Group lists UV-resistant braided knotted nets with 25 mm to 50 mm square mesh in standard sizes such as 50 m x 6 m, and makes custom sizes for larger grounds. **Can colleges buy ISI-marked fencing for tenders?** Yes. Nitin Wire Group's ISI-grade chainlink is made to IS 2721 and offered for tenders, government and institutional projects. Ask the sales team for specification sheets and a bulk quote for your campus. **Are invisible grilles suitable for school buildings?** Invisible grilles suit school corridors, balconies and windows where bars would block light and air. Nitin's grille uses nylon-coated 316-grade stainless steel cables. Have the cable spacing checked so children cannot squeeze through.
