Landscape and garden fencing

Boundaries, edging and screens for gardens, parks and outdoor spaces.

In shortLandscape fencing defines and protects outdoor spaces such as gardens, parks, resorts and campuses while keeping them attractive. It includes low picket fences, garden edging, privacy screens, planter boxes and tree guards for young plants. Nitin Wire Group, established in Chennai in 1975, supplies these alongside its fencing and mesh, so architects and developers can source a whole outdoor scheme from one supplier.

The problem

What you are protecting against

Trampled beds and lawns

Without clear edges, people and vehicles cut across planted areas.

Damaged saplings

Young trees in parks and along roads are eaten by cattle and goats or broken by passers-by.

Unwanted views

Service areas, bare walls and neighbouring buildings spoil an open landscape.

Rot, rust and termites

Timber rots and iron rusts outdoors, which means constant repainting and replacement.

Planning

How to plan it

  1. Draw the layout first

Mark paths, beds, play areas and service zones on a plan before choosing a product for each edge.

  2. Use light edges inside, a firm boundary outside

Edging and picket fences guide people within the space; the outer boundary still needs a secure fence.

  3. Protect new planting straight away

Fit tree guards when saplings go in, not after the first damage.

  4. Choose materials for outdoor exposure

Polymer and galvanised products cope with sun, rain and salt air better than untreated timber or iron.

This is your go to place for any wire fencing, trellis and other house improvement projects. The staff are very professional and prompt in service. I purchased a very small piece of fence but they treated the same as they would treat their bulk buyers. Rates are very reasonable. I compared prices with other vendors and found that they are the best. They also have a wide range of products.

I really like it. The drivers are very patient and unload the products. I really like it. The data of the products is also very good. I really like it.

FAQ

Landscape fencing: questions

What is the best fencing for a garden in India?

For a home garden, a low picket fence or garden edging defines beds and paths, while lattice or grass chainlink fence adds privacy. Polymer and galvanised products suit Indian weather better than timber, which rots and attracts termites.

How do I protect newly planted trees from cattle and goats?

Fit a tree guard around each sapling as soon as it is planted. Nitin Wire Group supplies metal tree guards 6 ft tall and polymer guards 5 ft tall, both 1.5 ft in diameter, designed for easy do-it-yourself installation.

Can tree guards be printed with a name?

Yes. Nitin Wire Group offers free name board printing on its tree guards, which suits CSR plantation drives, NGOs and community greening projects. Standard and custom sizes are available.

How is garden edging installed?

Garden edging panels are tapped into the soil with a rubber mallet using their fixing pegs, leaving a 5 mm expansion gap between panels. The supplied clips and pins join neighbouring panels so the edge stays aligned.

Do plastic picket fences need painting?

No. Plastic picket fences are made from UV-stabilised resin, so they do not need painting and will not rot, warp or be attacked by termites. Nitin's pickets are made from recycled UV-stabilised resin, with galvanised and powder-coated posts and rails.
