Nitin construction safety nets use 4 mm twisted knotted twine with 100 mm square mesh and a containment net to catch debris, in 10 x 5 m and 10 x 3 m sizes. 2.5 mm braided nets with 25 mm mesh are also used.
What mesh size is used for a cricket or sports net?
Nitin sports nets use 2.5 mm braided knotted twine with 30 mm or 50 mm square mesh, or 1.5 mm twine with 25 mm or 50 mm mesh. Smaller mesh is generally preferred for cricket so the ball cannot pass through.
Which net is used to stop pigeons on a balcony?
Anti-bird nets for balconies use thin twine with small mesh. Nitin supplies 1 mm braided knotted net with 25 mm square mesh and 1.5 mm nets with 25 mm or 50 mm mesh in white and black, which are less visible from a distance.
