Garden Edging: questions buyers ask
How do you install garden edging panels?
Separate the clips from the panel, then tap the panel into the soil with a rubber mallet or a length of wood. Leave a 5 mm expansion gap between panels, then push the clips through the slots from the front and pin them behind.
What size are garden edging panels?
Nitin garden edging panels are 890 mm long, 180 mm high and 8 mm thick. Picket panels have three 125 mm fixing pegs and Loops panels have four. Panels are sold individually.
How many garden edging panels do I need?
Each Nitin panel covers 890 mm of border, so divide the border length in millimetres by about 895 (panel plus 5 mm gap) and round up. A 10 m border needs about 12 panels.
What colours does garden edging come in?
Picket garden edging comes in Off White only. Loops garden edging comes in Charcoal and Off White. Both styles are 890 mm long, 180 mm high and 8 mm thick and are sold individually.
Is plastic garden edging better than brick or concrete edging?
Moulded edging panels are lighter, faster to install and easy to move later, and they will not crack or rot. Brick and concrete edging are heavier and permanent, and need mortar or a concrete bed.
