Invisible Grill applications
Invisible Grill: questions buyers ask
Is an invisible grill safe for children?
Yes, when correctly installed. Nitin® Invisible Grille uses high-tensile 316 stainless steel cables with a load capacity of up to 300 kg, closely spaced so a child cannot slip through. Furniture should still be kept away from the grill so children cannot climb over it.
What is the price of an invisible grill per sq ft?
Invisible grill prices are usually quoted per square foot and depend on the area covered, cable spacing, cable grade and the fixing channels needed for your wall type. Share your balcony or window dimensions with Nitin Wire Group for an exact quote.
Does an invisible grill rust near the sea?
Nitin's invisible grill uses 316 grade stainless steel, the marine grade that resists chloride corrosion better than the common 304 grade, with a nylon coating on top. This makes it well suited to coastal apartments and humid cities like Chennai.
What is the gap between invisible grill cables?
As general practice, invisible grill cables are spaced about 2 to 3 inches (50 to 75 mm) apart, close enough to stop a child slipping through and to keep pigeons out. Confirm the spacing for your installation with the Nitin team.
Does an invisible grill stop pigeons?
Yes. Closely spaced cables keep pigeons and other birds from entering balconies and window ledges, while leaving the view, light and airflow open. It is one of the reasons apartment owners choose an invisible grill over netting.
